Registering a domain Print

Registering a domain with Zen Hosting is easy.

Type in the domain name on this page, tick the checkboxes of the extensions you want to search and click the Search button.

Zen master's tip: Don't enter the domain name with spaces or without a domain extension.  For example, if you wanted to search for zenhosting.com.au, you would type zenhosting.com.au in the search field, not just zenhosting.  If you entered zenhosting, the search would take longer to complete because it would check multiple extensions, not just .com.au.

Please note that the system will generate some suggested domain names for you, as well as some premium domains.

For your information, premium domains are domains being offered for resale at a premium.

If the domain name is available and you want to secure it, click the Order Now button.

You’ll be prompted to enter the name servers of your host.

You’ll also be given the option of adding hosting to your order. Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to register your domain and have it hosted by the same company. If Zen Hosting is to host your website, enter the nameservers ns1.zenhosting.com.au and ns2.zenhosting.com.au in the fields.

Please note: If you’re registering a second-level Australian domain name such as a .com.au, .net.au, org.au .asn. au or id.au address, you’ll be prompted for your business information or proof of identification.

You’ll then proceed to checkout where you can finalise your order.

You’ll be forwarded to PayPal’s website to make a payment.

Please note: You must choose PayPal to pay by credit card.

Registration is immediate. You’ll receive an email titled Domain Registration Confirmation once registration has been successful.

The email will inform you when the domain is due to expire and will provide you with a link to manage your domain.
